Healthy Chocolate Energy Balls for Kids

These TOMI Sweet Potato Bites are made with Japanese sweet potato, TOMI Chocolate, and just a few pantry staples. They're soft, chocolatey, and perfect for little hands, making them a great option for lunchboxes, after-school snacks, or whenever your child needs a quick energy boost.

Ingredients
- ¾ cup baked Japanese sweet potato, mashed
- 4 tbsp TOMI Chocolate
- 2 tbsp oat flour or baby cereal
- 3 tbsp hemp hearts or unsweetened shredded coconut (for coating)
- Optional: 1–2 tsp maple syrup, if you'd like them a little sweeter
Directions
- Mash the baked sweet potato until smooth.
- Add TOMI Chocolate and oat flour (or baby cereal) and mix until well combined.
- If using, stir in maple syrup.
- Roll into small bite-sized balls.
- Coat with hemp hearts or shredded coconut.
- Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes before serving for the best texture.
Optional variations
🍌 Add mashed banana for extra sweetness.
🥜 Roll in finely chopped pistachios or almonds (for older children).
🥥 Use shredded coconut instead of hemp hearts.
🍫 Add a few mini dark chocolate chips to the mixture for an extra chocolatey bite.

Freeze for up to 1 month and thaw in the fridge before serving.
